Robbie Maddison’s 29.3-meter Arc de Triomphe jump — the $10 million stunt he swears he’ll never do again..
— Historic Vids (@historyinmemes) February 18, 2026
One of the boldest motorcycle stunts ever attempted, Robbie Maddison’s jump over the Arc de Triomphe replica at the Paris Casino in Las Vegas pushed the limits of what’s possible on two wheels.
Unlike typical distance jumps, Maddison had to ride up onto the 29.3-meter-high structure, pivot, and then launch off it. The drop was equivalent to ten stories, and the landing came alarmingly close to disaster, nearly overshooting the target. Broadcast worldwide on New Year’s Eve and produced with Red Bull, the stunt blended fearless precision with cinematic spectacle—perfect for the rider who once doubled Daniel Craig in Skyfall.
Even after tearing the flesh on his hand and absorbing a punishing impact, Maddison’s takeaway was clear: “I don’t care if you offered me $10 million, I wouldn’t do it again.”

The valiant never taste of death but once.
It seems to me most strange that men should fear;
Seeing that death, a necessary end, Will come when it will come"

That drop still gives me chills. No way.

29 meters on a motorcycle over an Arc de Triomphe replica for $10M and swearing never again is the most honest athlete statement in stunt history. The gap between what the body can do and what it wants to do is very clear there.

It’s easy to say that after getting the 10 million. Not saying I would even try but my comment still stands.

People see the glamour, but this stunt was a near death experiment in physics and control, $10 million can’t buy the body or mind back from that kind of risk.

That stunt is absolutely nuts—29 meters up and a near-miss landing? Respect to Robbie for walking away, but yeah, I get why he'd never touch it again 😳🔥

Fractured his wrists on the landing but still stuck it.
Just unbelievable
The landing was the most sketch, zero momentum for that free fall.

Some feats are worth witnessing once, but the wisdom is knowing when the risk outweighs the reward.

Thank you @redbull
The drop is one thing, but the pivot at the top is what gets me. One tiny slip and there’s no safety net. Do you think modern stunt riders are getting more calculated, or have we reached the absolute limit of what a human can survive on a bike?
